A nutrition facility

Anchor offers an in-depth array of nutritional services and nutrition coaching. We have programs in place for everyone from the beginner athlete who's just discovered that nutrition is the number one key to optimal health, wellness, and performance to the elite athlete who's looking to optimize their nutrition for better competitive performance.

 

A fitness facility

Anchor offers small group strength and conditioning classes that put the focus back on the athlete. We cap each class at 10 people so our coaches have a chance to work one-on-one with every individual in all classes.


A RECOVERY facility

Anchor is an official ROMWOD Affiliate - thousands of athletes worldwide incorporate this program into their daily routine. Within our dedicated Yoga studio is where we host the daily online YIN stretching routines so you can focus 100% on mobility, flexibility, and centering yourself pre or post-workout.

PROGRAMS & CLASSES


PROGRAMS & CLASSES


Fundamentals: This is a 1 week course of instruction which walks the beginner through all things strength & conditioning, including weightlifting etiquette/form/function/equipment usage/warm-ups/cool-downs/common movements used in group classes/etc. This is required for everyone, but can be bypassed if you meet certain requirements. Upon completion, you will graduate to the Strength & Conditioning classes and class times.

Strength & Conditioning: Group classes with daily programming tailored to increasing athletic capacity via strength training & Olympic weightlifting, conditioning, and skill development. There's an athlete inside of all of us - this class was built to help you realize that!

Recovery: Anchor is an official ROMWOD affiliate (www.romwod.com). We stream these online YIN stretching routines up to one hour before class times and up to one hour post-class times in our Yoga studio. Bring your Yoga mat, blocks, and straps, and sit into long pose holds to stimulate recovery and range of motion! Recovery is increased through the natural release of hyaluronic acid while simultaneously resetting the central nervous system. Range of Motion is optimized through the strengthening of ligaments and tendons while simultaneously removing excess fascia through specific stretching routines. Increased range of motion can generate power and promote efficiency of functional movements through improved position and posture.

Free Friends & Family Workouts: Join us every Saturday at 9am for a free friends and family workout; Children 8+ are welcomed and encouraged to join as well! These classes are built with the beginner in mind - no heavy weights or extremely complex movements, but rest assured you'll still get a great workout in!

 

Nutrition Coaching: The Anchor Nutrition Coaching Program was designed with the beginner in mind. This program is best suited for those who are looking to hone in their nutrition in regards to leading a healthier lifestyle, although it can be paired with our Strength & Conditioning program to stimulate better performance and recovery as well. Nutritional guidelines based on body composition statistics + personalized meal plan using the block method. Measurements and body composition are assessed once per week and nutritional guidelines are reassessed every 30 days while on the program.

  • NOTE: The Nutrition Coaching Program is set up to be a fully remote program, so you do not have to be local to take advantage of our amazing nutrition coaching program!

Performance Nutrition Program: The Anchor Performance Nutrition Program was designed specifically with the performance and competitive athlete in mind. If you have surpassed the general nutritional information and are looking for a more in-depth analysis and a greater return from your body, then this is the program for you! This program is 8 weeks in duration and measures very specific metrics within your personalized nutritional guidelines, performance, and body composition. Competition is very precise, so should be your nutrition.

The Gym

With roughly 2500ft2 of open training floor space, Anchor can run up to 10 members at once in any Strength & Conditioning class throughout the day. We cap at this number for space considerations, as well as 1-on-1 coaching experiences for each athlete.

Yoga Studio

Anchor has a dedicated Yoga studio that is roughly 500ft2 and can comfortably spread out 12 Yoga mats (and people in our favorite "rebound" pose). We currently use this studio space for our Recovery program - Athletes can come in before or after class times and follow along with the Yin flow for the day.

kitchen

Anchor also comes fully equipped with a kitchen - that's right, a kitchen in a gym! It's quite a unique feature that we utilize not only for our members pre/post workout nutritional items, but for our Nutrition and Meal Prep classes, as well as our in-house meal prep service!
